Description

Photographic print mounted to heavy card. Plaster Cast identified in photograph as "Doorway Impost Panel, No. 45, A. Calder". Sculptor Alexander Milne Calder (grandfather of 20th century sculptor Alexander Calder) made this design for the East Pavilion of Philadelphia City Hall. Tne sculptures were completed between 1873 and 1983.
