Description

A port-side view of the steamship 'Peruano' built by American shipbuilders Westervelt & Sons for the Peruvian government. Passengers enjoy the fresh air on the decks in addition to livestock such as horses and cattle on the lower deck of the ship. On the side of the paddle wheel, there is a seal of the Peruvian government.
