Description
Vannevar Bush makes adjustments to the product integraph machine. Original caption: "Dr. Vannevar Bush who with F.G. Kear, H. L. Hazen, H.R. Stewart and F. D. Gage, developed the Product Integraph, an electrical machine that thinks for itself, at Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Virtually a man-made 'mind', the Integraph transcends human reasoning in its ability to write the answer to mathematical problems too complex for the human brain to solve. Dr. Bush is seen adjusting the mechanism of the Integraph." Used in: 03-69, Boston Herald, Issue Oct. 30 & MIT, Page 13 Picture A, Old & Bush. Used in: Published, Oct 10 1960, Boston Herald.
