Original Caption: "Dr. Eliot Celebrates his Ninetieth Birthday - Dr. Charles William Eliot, President Emeritus of Harvard University yesterday celebrated his ninetieth birthday. At Harvard University, Cambridge, there was a public observance of the day when two thousand persons were packed in the Sanders Theatre while as many more clamored for admission, to hear Dr. Eliot's birthday address. Dr. Eliot's message to the Harvard students included advice not to put off marriage too long and if they found the profession upon which they had entered to their dislike to change it.
