James Rhyne Killian receives a new ceremonial mace from Leverett Howell Cutten. The mace, designed by Cutten, was a gift from the Class of 1907, presented at the Alumni Day luncheon, 1957. Original caption 1: "Leverett H. Cutten, '07 (R) presents Dr. Killian with ceremonial mace which Mr. Cutten made. June Observer 1957".
