Waterline model of the oiler USS Cimarron (AO-22). Hull, decks, and deck furniture all painted the same shade of grey, with the name in black on the stern. Bridge midships forward and cabin aft. Mounted on a flat wood base. Maker's mark on the bottom reads "Van Ryper, Vinyard Haven, MA."

The USS Cimarron was launched in 1939 and supplied fuel oil to the US Navy.
