Description

Fully rigged model of the yacht Independence. Simplified hull is painted grey on deck, with white topsides and green below the waterline. Gaff sloop rig is moderately detailed, though deck hardware is very simplified.

The Independence was an America's Cup contender designed by B.B. Crowninshield and built by George Lawley in 1901.
